Multi-Scenario Simulation of Ecosystem Service Value in Wuhan Metropolitan Area Based on PLUS-GMOP Model

Rapid construction and development activities in large urban areas have significantly impacted land use cover (LULC). They brought great pressure to sustainable development. Current studies shown that changes LULC structure affect regional ecosystem service functions but lack the sufficient scientific basis provide reasonable strategies for future of areas. Based on related data Wuhan metropolitan area (WMA) 2000, 2010, 2020, this study, we construct a value (ESV) simulation method based coupled PLUS-GMOP (patch generation grey multi-objective optimization) model find from 2000 2020 are mainly reflected decrease farmland water increase built-up land, which spatially city center other surrounding centers. The ESV also exhibits slight then significant decrease, consistent overall pattern high west low east. By presupposing three scenarios 2030 (ND, natural development; EFD, ecological first EECD, economic coordinated development), analysis shows although is still decreasing, EECD scenario achieves relatively (+90.134 billion yuan) by losing less (0.27 million than advocated study. coupling proposed study provides reference coordinating protection cities, new technical path planning.
